Welcome to day two! Today I will talk about the first song on my upcoming album - I Wonder. This is the first song I wrote about this guy that would become my boyfriend for the next five years.
One fun fact is that in Norwegian we don't have separate words for boyfriend and girlfriend. We call each other "kjæreste" - which means "the dearest".
This is the first recording I have of this song. I had a band in 2015, and we played this song only one time - in this rehearsal, and this is straight after I taught them the chords, so it is a little funny to listen to.
We didn’t have a band name yet, but one of the members was Mexican - and he proposed we could call ourselves “Spot the Mexican”, which was funny there and then, but of course not a fitting name. We practised in a tiny room where we barely fit in. And as you can hear - I’m mumbling the lyrics - because I didn’t want the guy it was about to hear them.
WRITTEN IN MARCH 2015
Another producer made this demo that was never finished. I even made a music video for this one that has never seen the light of day. Should I finish it and release it as a remix?

FIRST GIGS WITH MY BAND:
FIRST GIG IN NORWAY
This song has been on a long journey. But it was first when I produced it all by myself, that I felt like it sounded like me. So maybe it is okey sometimes that life can take a detour. That this song wasn't meant to be released to the world until now. Here is a lyric video of the entire part A of the album.
Parr Street Studios, Liverpool
The next video is a short clip from the third and last gig we ever had as a band, as I moved to Copenhagen just a few month after. Here I was wearing a kimono that I bought in my favorite vintage shop in Liverpool. This pattern is also today's website background.
Just after moving home from Copenhagen, I had my very first gig playing my own songs, in Kilden Kulturhus in Kristiansand, Norway. My friend, Simen Løvgren, joined me doing live electronics. I really loved this duo setup. In this video there are several songs that are not released, or not produced yet. And this is exclusively for you to watch. Is there any of the songs you think I should produce/finish and release?
