Artist and producer MIRIEL makes dreamy music from the Norwegian mountains and forests. She takes her background as a classical pianist with her into the world of pop, and by combining angelic voices, flying pads, church organ, piano and the sounds she finds in nature, she creates dreamy, ethereal soundscapes that lets you escape the world for a moment.
She released her debut album A Love Story in 2021, that she produced in her bedroom in four months after her boyfriend of 5 years suddenly left her. The album is chronological and is about the relationship from the beginning to the end, with the first song written two weeks before the relationship, and the last ones 2 months after. The album was awarded "Album of the week" by NPS. She also made an accompanying CD-book to be read while listening to the album.
Since then she has released 9 new singles, and both Snow and Silenced has has gained millions of views on Tiktok. She is currently finishing producing her second album, expected to be released in February 2027.
